Shell Manager Tool

In this documentation we will go through the functionality of the shell manager tool.

This is another tool designed specifically for the Medusa application. Medusa is a tool that can steal configuration files for social media software installations and crack weak user passwords.

One other feature of Medusa is that it can create shells, which are basically backdoors for accessing a remote server. These shells however are a bit different, they don't give remote access where the attacker could send any commands instead it will dump the configuration of the database for a specified social media software system.

All shells made in Medusa are stored in Carnivore's Shells folder.

This manager has three options:

1. Download: download the shell
2. Remove: remove the shell
3. Show Source: show shell source, note that depending on the settings this shell could be encoded in order to bypass filters
