Screen Settings Tool
In this documentation we will go through the functionality of the screen settings tool.
In Carnivore the usage of the term screen files refers to screen.php files inside modules. These are mainly executed in an iframe after a user sends form data to the script. Some of these screen.php files may take up lots of memory or may take hours if not days to complete.
This will, of course, cause PHP to choke because it can't allocate more memory or the maximum execution time limit is exceeded. That's where this tool comes in place.
There are two options:
- memory_limit: sets maximum memory php can allocate, useful when bruteforcing using huge wordlists
- time_limit: sets the maximum amount of time for execution, set this setting to 0 if you want infinite time
You can only use these settings on modules that have screen files.
