Install App Tool

In this documentation we will go through the functionality of the install app tool.

In Carnivore, new applications should be installed before usage. This way it will be shown in the navigation, development and application section.

The process is straightforward, just click on the Install application and the application can be found by Carnivore. When the application was successfully installed a new record will be added to the Data/extra.php file.

Known Issues:

When an application is not installed using this tool, the folder can still be accessed but it's basically invisble because it won't be displayed in the expected areas. This could lead to a potential security risk.
